ASRA Scholarships
The Administrative Staff Retirees Association of the University of Ottawa established a scholarship fund in 2003 to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students registered in a direct-entry faculty: Arts, Telfer School of Management, Engineering, Sciences, Health Sciences or Social Sciences.
This fund was combined in 2009 with the employees' Support Staff Scholarship to form the University of Ottawa's Active and Retired Administrative Staff Scholarship.
The purpose of this fund is to provide financial assistance to students who have completed at least one year of study, demonstrate bilingualism, financial need and an academic excellence.
The first scholarship was awarded in 2010. Since then, every year, scholarships have been awarded, according to the available funds, to exceptional students thanks to the generosity of retirees.
