3rd Ognanovic conference

You are invited to the third lecture of the Ognanovic  series of conferences dedicated to health and aging.

These conferences honour the memory of our generous benefactor Elfried Ognanovic, Professor of Nursing Sciences in the 1970s.

This Serie of conferences enlighten us on different aspects of health an also give members the opportunity to socialize with their colleagues.

DATE: Wednesday September 23rd, 2026

TIME: 1-00 TO 4.00 pm

LOCATION: Desmarais, 12th floor, DMS 12102

TITLE OF THE PRESENTATION: Music and Health in Older Adults

SPEAKER: Dr. Gilles Comeau, from the School of Music.  Dr. Comeau is a member of the Royal Society of Canada and founding director of the Research Institute of Music and Health at the University of Ottawa.

Te presentation will be in french but questions can be addressed in both official languages. 

MODE OF PRESENTATION: Hybrid, in person or by video conference

The doors will be open at 12.30 PM and the Zoom connection will take place at 12.45PM.

Finger foods will be served after the presentation.

To help us plan for the presentation please let us know if ou intend to attend by communicating  with apruo@uottawa.ca before September 9th 2026.  Please indicate if you will be present in person or will be participating in video conference.  In this latter case, we will send you the zoom, link a few days before the conference.
