2025 Annual General Meeting

Members of the Board of the Administrative Staff Retirees Association of the University of Ottawa (ASRA) request your presence at the Annual General Meeting of 2025.

 Date: Friday, September 19, 2025

 Place: Room 125, Simard Hall, University of Ottawa. You may also attend the meeting via ZOOM videoconference. A link will be sent to participants.

 Schedule:

• 9:30 a.m : A continental breakfast (muffins, croissants, pastries, cheese, fruit and beverages) will be served to those attending in person.
• 10 :15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m : Annual General Meeting

 Parking: A parking permit for the entire day in the Brooks parking garage will be available to print and display in your car. 

 What is the purpose of an AGM?

• Present to members of ASRA:
• - Achievements of the past year
• - Financial statements for 2024–2025
• - The report on the Pension fund and our participation in the Pension Committee
• - A summary of social activities organized in 2024–2025
• - Our main action plan for the coming year
• Elect members of the Board of Directors: We will proceed with the election of members of the Board of Directors of ASRA. We will have a call for candidates before proceeding with the election. If you wish to submit your name as a possible candidate to the Board of ASRA, you may contact the president, Hélène Boivin at hboivin@uottawa.ca or any other member of the Board.
• Approve amendments to the Constitution of ASRA
• Answer your questions and gather comments and suggestions

Have your say! All retirees of the University of Ottawa are welcome, however, only members in good standing (those who have paid their subscription fee for the current year) have the right to vote during the Meeting.

Participation Prizes:

• 1 gift card of $50 (random draw for all participants)
• 1 surprise gift (random draw amongst those attending in person)
